Reno/Sparks Peeps: is it just me, did I come on the wrong day, or is Artown dead this year?
Seriously, hubster and I went down today: aside from a couple bands on opposite sides of the river, and the Celtic Forest exhibit, I saw more art at the La Bussola store. The only “artists” I saw there selling things were vendors hawking that Connie Lee jewelry or something similar. I’m guessing that due to the economy, the interest in this July fest is waning, given the apathy I saw on a lot of faces today.
Then again, I may have come on the wrong day…
